Rich, fruity and intense, it is loaded with raspberry and black cherry aromas, cedar chips and pretty violet notes and a hint of vanilla. The vanilla pops back again on the palate with caramel and supple grapey flavours.

El Chivo Merlot Central Valley
Super smooth, with flavours of plum, blackcurrant and red cherry, there's a touch of acidity, but it mostly just slips down with soft, silky tannins. Ridiculously moreish and a real crowd pleaser.

Good value medium bodied red from Italy's Adriatic coastal region of Abbruzzo. Rspberry and plums to the fore. Not complex but very drinkable and great value at its price.
